Baby Chick Care

  No matter what brooder you have you should clean it weekly or daily if possable. Use a gallon of water and use 1/4 of a gallon of clorax mix it. Use a spray bottle and clean the brooder as clean as possable to almanite dissese. This will help to get healthery better looking birds to. Or use Incubation Disinfectant Concentrate for wahsing eggs, incubators, brooders, and intensive care units. (brinsea procuct)

  If you are building or buying a brooder try to get a wire floor. I used to use news paper, shavings, straw  but every time we use  that the water bottle  droopped and killed all the chicks. This method worked very will and still does.

        This brooder I built my self. It has a wire floor for easyer to clean. The heat lamp has a 150 light bulb. I would consider to build one then to buy one. (you save money this way)
